Kent... Where is He?

I just bought this game and Kent is the only person I have left to meet. But for whatever reason, I cannot find him anywhere, not at his house or anywhere else. He just doesn't show up! Where can I find him if not at his home?

EDIT: If it's not Kent then who am I missing? I've literally met everyone in the town.

I didn't have to meet Kent to complet the "Introductions" quest..maybe you are missing someone else, as Kent only appears later in the game (I think).

I'm actually in the same boat right as this right now -- if anyone knows where to look.

I've got 27/28 people met and in the social tab, there are no people with ??? left. Kent is the only person I don't think I've seen, yet he never seems to be at his house with Jodi and the kids. Also, does he even have a room there? On the map it says Jodi, Kent and Sam, but I only see Jodi, Sam and Vincent (the little boy).

Any ideas on who I might be missing if not Kent? Or where Kent could be located?

Edit: Btw, I'm in winter of first year now. Could he perhaps be in town only during certain seasons?

Kent isn't required and appears when hitting the second year.
In my case I somehow had to talk to the granny again, even though I had done this before.

Interesting, I'll just go around talking to folks again and hopefully someone triggers the quest completion.

Try tallking to every shop owner behind the counter. Also, head to Marnie's Ranch first thing in the wee hours of the morning to catch Shane before his shift at Joja, because he can't be interacted with while working.

As a side note, talking to people during a festival does not seem to update their "met" tracker (if watching streamers do this is any indication), so you may have met the person in a Festival, but not in their regular, day to day life.

my missing one ended up being sabatian because the little ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ never leaves his room i swear meeting them at an event doesnt count as meeting them you have to say hi to them in the course of the day

Look into the relations tab in the menu - you see the portraits of every citizen - if someones name appear as ??? you haven't talked to him or her. Don't know how far you into the game, but you need the Wizard for this quest and you can only talk to him, if you trigger an event. (afaik)

Actually there is a person who will not be shown in the relations tab before you met him. Go into the mine and look at the right maybe you will have an idea.

He is like any of the other "secret" characters not needed for the quest.

I had the same issue I thought it was becaue I hadn't met him either, I believe he only comes in the second year but I'm not completely sure. Anyway I went to the medical centre and met Harvey, have you introduced yourself to him yet?

in the year since this was posted I would imagine they've met Harvey, yes

Press escape and select the Social tab.

Any character you have not met will have (???) beside his/her name.

Now go to: https://stardewvalleywiki.com/xxxxxx (where xxxxxx is the name of the character you seek. ie: https://stardewvalleywiki.com/Willy)

All the information you need to locate that charater is in the Wiki.
