Jodi Fish Casserole

I can't seem to complete her fish casserole quest. She asked me to bring a large mouth bass to her house at 7:00pm for dinner. I got this quest from her showing up at my house and inviting me over for dinner.

I brought a large mouth bass to her house but nothing happens.

Same issue, halp! x.x I tried going in with it in the inventory, going in with it held in hand.. trying to give her the thing just results in a rather unimpressed gift receipt.

i did it but i think that you only had to go into house at 19:00 . May couldo go 19:10 or more but stay out until 19:00 then go into. I don't remember if i had fish in toolbar, in my hands or in my bag but may 1º option

I have brought her a Largemouth Bass and a Smallmouth Bass. I have brought them through the door in my hand, in my hotbar, and in my inventory. I have brought them in each of these configurations at 17:00, 18:00, 19:00, and 19:30. I have attempted to give them to her directly.

None of these has worked. I think it's safe to say something is wrong - if not with the game itself, then with the instructions.

you don't have to give her as gift, when you go into her home you would had to see 1 event, cinematic. May you have 1 bug :(....
But you are in the same day that you pick mission or other?

I have tried the above both on the same day (backed up save) and on subsequent days. That said, while it would make /sense/ for it to be a one-day-only task from a narrative standpoint, that's pretty harsh given the game's style. And besides it's still sat there in my journal. Waiting.

I tried all of the above as well no luck here either. I've just deleted the quest now so it wont annoy me

Same thing happened to me as well. I restarted the day and went in at 7:10 instead and it worked.

One thing I have been wondering, but can't test because of my fishing level I guess.. does it only work if you take a normal quality Largemouth Bass? As opposed to one with a silver or gold star I mean.

I've been trying this for two days. I arrive at 6:30 and keep entering and leaving. No joy. To the people that made it, did you catch a new fish? I was trying to use one I had in storage and was asking myself if that could be the issue.

Hmm I had to go and catch a new fish since I didn't have one yet. I had both a silver one and a normal one in my inventory when I went in. I was having an issue where it kept triggering one of Sam's events instead of the fish casserole one. I ended up going to Jodi's place in the morning, triggering the Sam event, then reentering at 7:10 with the Largemouth Bass in my inventory. For some reason going in at 6:50, then again at 7:00 didn't work for me.

I hope it ends up working out for you guys!

Try to not reenter and enter, just wait outside till 7.10 and enter for the first time of the day.

I'm also stuck on this. I've tried entering at 6:50, 7, & 7:10 with a no star and a silver star largemouth bass and with them both in my hand and in my inventory. Nothing ever works. It's super frustrating!

There's another post with this same issue. Seems like the other thread came to the same conclusion I dd in my game that I triggered the scene with Sam and now the other event won't trigger. Haven't tried since the most recent update.

You HAVE to wait till 7:00pm to enter the house. Then it goes straight to a cutscene
