This game's isn't of the adventure RPG genre, more of a Build It Up open world game. The quests in the game are just side items to the main objective of building up a nice farm and setting you own goals (whether its for money or just satisfying your own imagination of what a nice farm should look like in the game).
With that being said, the closest next thing to a main story line is repairing the Community Center. There is a nice cutscene that goes along with it after its all finished that seems like the end of a major plot line.
