Oh yeah, I forgot that there are 28 days in a month in this game, I thought there are, well, 30.
There are calendars in town and the map changes during the transition.
You have no excuse to hate on the game for not having 30 days when you have 28 days to look at the calendar and make one for your home.
It isn't a spoiler to check for the calendar, which is on the front of Pierre's shop and had a ? bubble... The earthquake, only on Wiki or here could you know. However, still super funny to me.
I never said I hated the game, I'm just telling my story.
This is the point of the game.. you'll always be busy with farming, whether it be your crops, animals, the mines, fishing, foraging, etc. That is what this game is about. Making money by doing these activities and upping your farm, house, tools etc.
you can always, mine, fish, sell wood, stone, sap, turn broken CD / Glasses into refined quartz worth 50G and so on
I thought the earthquake happened to open up access to the railway and spa.
lol , theres always one
I was a bit upset by it, too... until you realize how easy it is to acquire gold in this game. Granted, it may not be in the thousands, but you can get enough right away to help you get more seeds for the season.
When the earthquake hit, I lost roughly 30 crops - parsnips that were set to gather, potatoes & cauliflower with 1 day left. It sucked but I just went down to the ocean, got some coral, fished a bit and made back enough to buy Pepper seeds, plant them and just let time do its thing.
I don't think the plants should wither, though - they should still be allowed to grow, just when their cycle is up, they're not allowed to regrow/be planted again. Would take the sting out of investing so much and losing it all so quickly.
I honestly don't mind the earthquake feature, it keeps it interesting, but maybe just make it not as powerful I guess.
Yeah, us old gamers should stick to Sisyphus' job, no fun allowed! That'll show those pesky kids.
