Festival bug?

At some festivals (like the one with the jelly fishes in summer) I can't leave it. But there is also no event or "trigger" to let it end how it is planned. Does annybody else is experiencing this issue?

I just experienced it with the Flower Festival. Wanted to leave earlier, found out the supposed exit led to a lake with no possibility of leaving. In the end, I had to exit the game and lose the day progress.

I am at the end of Autumn right now, and have been to all the festivals. They each have a trigger person. (Normally it's the mayor). The only one that is open-ended, (so far), is the Harvest Fair in Autumn, where you can leave any time you want.

Be sure to look for the trigger person, otherwise the event won't proceed.

I've talked with every person, with the mayor too. That's the problem

Have you tried talking to the mayor after exhausting any other dialogue? In some festivals he won't have a chat icon but you'll still be able to talk to him to start the festival.

I had other problem, in the summer the Luau never started for me and I couldn't find the mayor at all that day( I have searched whole town) It should be at the beach right ?

I tried to talk to the mayor too. Nothing happened. Tried everything so basically, I was stuck without any possibility of leaving.

Stuck in jelly fish celebration too and talking to everyone doesn't trigger >.> Now if only i could fish while it's this slow lol

ohh i talked to the mayor again even tho no chat bubble and he asked if i wanted him to launch the boat so i think it's working, just talk to him again even tho no chat thingy :P

You have to talk to the mayor twice. First time he's all like, sending out this boat will attract the jellies. Second time he asks if he should send out the boat.

For me, in the Fall festival, the chat bubble for the mayor is coming up but it won't let me click on him to speak with him. The game refuses to acknowledge my clicks.
