Do You Have to Water Crops Every Day?
it takes a lot of energy to water everything every day, and I was wondering what happens if you don't water them daily.

Yes, they have to be watered every day in order to mature. If a crop isn't watered, it's liked it gets "paused" for that day and it doesn't get any closer to being harvest-ready.

Yes you do. Unless it's raining or you have the sprinklers that cost 5000 gold.

You dont need to buy sprinklers, you can craft them.

If you do not water your crops on a given day, then that day does not count towards their growth rate. So if a crop takes 5 days to grow, and you fail to water it on one day, it'll take a total of 6. If you fail to water it for multiple days in a row, the plants will wither and die. I'd recommend never missing more than 1 if you can help it, and preferrably not missing any at all.

Watering does take a lot of energy, but you can eat things to get your energy back up, and the higher your farming skill, the less energy it takes to water. Plus the better watering cans cover more ground. And of course the Stardrops giving you more maximum energy will help, too. Just stick with it.

Okay cool. Im still a bit early on in the game, so I don't have sprinklers or anything just yet. I'll just deal with it for now :)
