Ancient Fruit/Seeds

So.. I've planted an ancient seed, which is great. Great money etc, but winter is a comming! I read on a site (https://www.reddit.com/r/StardewValley/comments/47ttyx/stardew_valley_tips_megathread/) which states "You will be rewarded with one Ancient fruit seed and the recipe for making more seeds out of the fruit. Plant it. Be absolutely sure nothing happens to it before you can harvest. Scarecrow, etc."

Just wondering if there is a way to convert the Ancient fruit into seeds.. Rather not lose my plant. Anyone able to share any insight or is this outdated or something as it seems to require seeds not the fruit.

Does this apply to all crops?

Thats brilliant.. able to shed any light as to what the requirements are? Wiki's have limited info but thank you for the post! Also slight bug will be reporting it later.. Right clicking now picks up your placed objects such as the Mayo maker etc :-(

For seed maker you need 25 wood, 10 coal, 1 gold bar and I believe level 9 farming.

btw will you guys fix Grass? Either make it grow faster or have animals eat way less. Because i planted tons of grass and my 2 chickens ate it all in like 3 days

It's a normal crop and it seems to grow as long as it isn't winter.

I made the misstake to give my seed to the museum. Any chanse I'll find another seed later on? :/

But when you give your first seed to the museus gunther rewards you with the first pack for you to plant, as long as the recipe.
You can't plant the artifact itself, you MUST donate the first one.
