How often does it rain?

It seems the odds of having a rainy day are pretty low? Its been a month and only 1 day of rain has occured.

Not sure if it is the same for everyone, but it seems to rain often in my game. May even rain for a few days at a time. Just keep an eye on the weather network on the TV.

It has not rained once for me so far in my game. It's honestly getting to be really frustrating.

Must be totally random, 'cause it rains nearly every day in mine. It's a great game, but getting tired of playing since my game is just constantly grey and dreary since it just never stops raining.

I'd love having it be more rainy.. but not one rainfall all spring in a new game is brutal when you're spending half your energy bar watering crop every day.

Which basically is the easiest game ever. :) The only thing that came from the sky in my game was a meteorite.

So jealous of all you people in monsoon season. It only rained a lot during the first week of spring, but I just started fall and it rained maybe a total of two times during the entire summer.

Is there a way to cheat rain into my game? Almost to the end of fall and it still has NEVER rained. I don't want to play this game on hardmode =(

Kind of seems seasonal to me - maybe very loosely based, if some of you guys are getting a lot of rain year-round.

In my game, I got rain 2-3 times a week in spring; now I get it once - sometimes twice a week in summer.

I've had one rain in summer so far (I'm on day 21). But in the Spring it rained several times a week. I hope it rains more in the Fall. I was thinking it was seasonal, but I'm sure RNG comes into it as well.

I understand that, its difficult to progress in the mines when you only have 1/3 to 1/2 an energy bar every day, assuming you don't have to replant or do other tasks. Without some rain to give me 'days off' so to speak I have had a difficult time doing other things like fishing, gathering forest goodies/flowers, and mining.

I think my game is bugged honestly.

You can get by pretty easily without rain.

You're planting too much if you've only got 1/3 of your energy left after watering.

It's best to use renewable crops. Just take a day to craft some fertilizer at the beginning of the season, and plant up whenever you get your plots ploughed and fertilized; after that, you're good for the season(s). Watering should consume ~1/2 of your bar, then you can take off into the mines and make it 5 levels before heading back.

Upgrading your watering bucket seems to save some energy (it definitely does time, with holding the button down letting you spray multiple crops) That, or it may just be the improvement of farming skill...
