Describe this game

I have this game but I can't seem to figure it out. What's the goal? Is it a SOL (Slice of Life) sim? Do I pretend I am really there? Farm stuff, fish, talk to people.?

Harvest Moon.... If you've played that you would understand. Just a role playing game that you can sit back and get lost it.

It's slightly a slice of life sim, in respects to interacting with the populace and becoming friends with them.
Everything else feels like an RPG, and the farming is pretty relaxing in itself.
It's time consuming, meaning you'll spend a lot of time if you want to complete everything. It's a completionists wet dream, but it doesn't feel like such a grind if you dont want it to be.
