So I found some clams and mussels on the beach... How do I eat them? Make a camp fire? How do I eat any food I grow?

I have this same question. I have tried several ways to get my person to eat something but nothing seems to work.

Wow I just figured it out. So you need to hold the item from your inventory so it's over your guys head. then you need to right click and it will ask if you want to eat it or not

What he said, plus for real cooking you'll need the house kitchen expansion. :)
