Any idea where I can catch eels?
The wiki says you can fish them at night, but I don't know where to look.

Any water that you catch fish, has to be at night during spring/fall as stated in Wiki.

I caught one on the day I got my fishing pole and was practising on the pier with the bait shop and never seen another one. I'm in Summer now, by the way.

If you pay attention to the WIki, it states in the table where to find each fish. If the cell is empty, it means any fishable spot has a chance to spawn the fish.

The wiki is actually super wrong at the moment. Keep in mind that it is made by people and not always right.

Alot of mixed info here. Make sure you are getting your info from the official wiki not the Wikia.

Eel can be caught in Spring and fall, in the ocean from 4pm to 2am. It is also a decent difficutly fish for early game so hvaing higher skill and at least a fiberglass pole will also help.

According to the tv, it must be caught during rain iirc

Can confirm: Eel can be catched in spring, but at night time, rain and only in the ocean.
I catched quite alot of them on the eastmost pier on the beach.

Does it need to be after 4 AND Raining or is what?

I caught 5 eels in 6 casts after 7 pm on a rainy fall night by casting into the darker area around that rock that sticks out of the water by the middle of the western pier.
