Endless Running Bug

I'm on the thirteenth level in the mines and when I got towards the bottom of the screen my character started running to the bottom and won't stop, I ate something and i could move again but afterwards the character began running in the same direction, I can't turn but I could defeat the buzzing fly that attacked me.

No, It started working again after I alt-tabbed out to post the initial problem and back in. I didn't test it again though.

The moment I end the conversation with Robin after exiting the bus in the very beginning, my guy takes off running across the screen like Forest Gump.

No controller or gamepad plugged in, no keys stuck depressed. Not sure what is going on tbh, at first I thought it was part of the intro, my character is moving by himself, but then he just kept going.... It was kind of hilarouis the first time, but I've restarted five times now and the same thing keeps happening.

Does anyone know wtf is going on?

Same thing happening to me. Going to try removing the gamepad, but I'm not expecting different results. Needs to be fixed ASAP as it's gamebreaking for a new player.

Disconnecting the gamepad did absolutely nothing...

I had really high hopes for the game but the very simple bugs at the VERY BEGINNING OF THE GAME are turning me off fast.

Yeah I just bought the game as well, would have been cool to play tonight but it's not a huge deal. So long as it's fixed quick.

It's happened to me a few times as well, but seems to go away quickly. Does alt-tabbing for you guys fix the issue?

Nope. It seems that established players aren't as effected by the bug, but the intro cutscene is totally borked, and glitches the game.
