I can't complete 'Jodi Cauliflower' Quest!

I've taken a cauliflower to Jodi at her home but she wont talk to me so i cant complete the quest.
is there a bug with this quest?

You have to gift the flower to her, just select the flower and click her while standing near.

I was scared to gift it to her as i had lost some stuff this way earlier.

I know man, I gave my last califlower to someone else by acident and now it's summer and I have to wait until next year to complete the quest.
