But you could have searched the region for items to sell...

You could have fished, mined(aka "adventuring"), done quests, donated items to museum(typically side benefit of mining)

farming isnt the only way to make money in the game.

You know, season dependant vegetables (even a single week can mess everything).

Well for most Harvest Moon veterants, this is pretty obvious, but its welcome for the new comers

Pro tip : Stock max money you can 5 days before season change, and when the next season come, mass plant crops that produce during all the season (1 seed = infinite crops). Best invest you can do each season. Planting them at the very first day max your ratio.

I saw it happen on a live stream last night too. I think it may be linked to the mood of the spirits as my change from Spring to Summer had a little Tinker Bell fly past and instant grow all my crops for me without any loss at all.
