Haven't completely figured it out yet but on rainy days he almost always goes down to the beach at the end of the pier by the afternoon and doesn't head back until evening.

Every friday he will go to the bar at evening and he leaves the house other days at night forgot when though. Also on rain he moves around too.

I saw him wandering to the east of the carpenter's house on Thursday during the evening.

Once you get him to two hearts, you'll have access to his room. c: I think during the weekdays when he's in his room, he'll leave it a couple times to get stuff from the fridge. I've seen him do it a couple times in the afternoon but mostly after 5 pm. Before I got him to two hearts, I just waited outside his door. lol

Serious answer:

He usually leaves in the evening if at all.
He'll go to the saloon Friday nights.
During rain, he'll go down to the docks.
Occasionally seen during the day hanging out with Sam right below Sam's house.
You just gotta be patient.
