Really, it's getting a bit tiring when it's noon and it takes me 4 hours to get to Molly's only to find out what mats she wants, have to walk back and sleep so I can get to Molly's again in the morning.

Do you have auto run turned on?

And enable auto-run

Eventually you can buy a stable which comes with a horse.

You can buy sneakers from the adventure guild. Dunno how much they increase speed by though, haven't bothered to buy them.

They dont. They only increase your defense. Getting a horse is the only solution atm.
