How do you get seaweed ? Only by fishing in the beach area ?

Thanks, this is great. Upsetting about the changes to Elliot's portrait though. Really dislike the final game version.

You can hang around his house if you really want to meet him, I'm not sure of his regular schedule yet though.

He leaves his house around noon, hangs out for about two hours, then goes back inside or wanders somewhere. I've seen him on the bridge by the beach too.

His favorite items are hard to come by if you can't cook or fish, but he can be won over on the cheap with wild fruits and flowers if you're broke or too lazy to farm. Just don't give him any dandelions, daffodils or salmonberries, he hates them.

As for where to find him, he typically leaves his shack between 11 am and 12 pm and heads for one of three places: the beach, the bridge, or by Leah's house. If he's not in any of those places, he'll either be shopping at Pierre's (Thursdays) or reading books in the library (fall or winter). Wherever he ends up, he usually heads for home around 5-6pm, sometimes stopping in for a drink at the saloon along the way. If all else fails, stake out his place on the beach around 5:30 pm - he'll turn up.
