Price Difference?

So I noticed that Pierre offers to buy your crops. Is there a benefit to selling them to him instead of dumping them in the sale bin? I.e. is there a price difference or some other incentive to lug them to town?

Here are 2 people who have the game, both being beta players. And I'm pretty sure both are not supposed to talk about the game (at least not too much). How the hell should anyone know? Wait till the game is released and find it out yourself.

I assume you meant the two personal friends/whatever of the developer aren't allowed to drop huge spoilers. Yeah, okay, but I'm simply curious if there's some incentive to sell your stuff in person vs. dumping it in the bin. Concerned Ape himself has spoiled much bigger things than that on his twitter.

For instance, that there's not intended to be a huge sale price increase when you're selling crops off-season because, supposedly, it wasn't fun feeling like you needed to hang onto all your crops until they were out of season to get the best return. I feel my question is in the same vein as that, and I don't use twitter or I'd ask him on there directly.

It doesn't make a difference if you sell them to Pierre or if you sell them into the box. :)

Ah...I think it's kind of a misunderstanding/frustration. I think it's a LiTtLe rude to basically say, 'hey, I got early access to this game' in front of people who are waiting for at least another two weeks for it to come out. [Also, if they're using Steam (forgive me, I'm not very technologically advanced) and they wanted to ask the developer a question, couldn't they just have asked them in PM? Or is that only when you're Steam 'friends' with someone? Or, you know, save the game, sell only one item in the bin, and then sell the same item to the merchant, to see if there was a cost difference.] That said, they weren't being an ^^^, just subjectively a bit inconsiderate.

I don't have the game. Do you see the absence of a little mouse icon next to my name? That was a clue. I can't imagine how apparently several of you arrived at that conclusion, and why you're going completely mental reacting to this groundless assumption.

It does seem to be a misunderstanding based on phrasing. Simply because you weren't referencing the trailer or a stream you saw it in.

But yeah, Bexy is correct. No noticeable price difference. Benefits are you can sell to Pierre during the hours his store are open, but you don't get money from the box 'til you go to bed.
