Also (due to the fact that we find blue books that delivers right into museum's library) we can even gain through Gunther's quest, for instance, ourselve a portable version of bestiary avaiable for us any time. Some kind of collaboration between him and Marlon for the sake of enhancement of cleaning monsters from caves.
Overall, I liked the idea since I've been anoyed myself from innumerous visits to the Adventurer's Guild just to find out how many dust sprites has left for me to vaccuum to death
I had a feeling that would be the case. Which is why I wanted to limit this topic to the vanilla game. Thanks for the comment, anyway.
Overall, it seems to me that this would require quite a bit of effort and development time that could probably be spent on more interesting things. Assuming there's even going to be an additional content patch after the one that's nearly finished.
I really liked your idea. Yes, it would be complicated to do, and if the dev's going to work on it, we'll be waiting for it like Hachiko, but the game is still in development and giving up on such an idea just because there's already a mod for that sounds quite lame statement for me. Minecraft, for example, is still adding things, that mods did earlier. The game became so much better, and we are able to see how the dev's wanted to portray each mechanic.
