Wait... can you hardlock yourself from completing collections in multiplayer?
So I'm currently playing the game with two of my friends and, well... the items they donated into the museum don't show up in my minerals and artifacts collections, and vice versa. Picking up that artifact/mineral or rearranging them doesn't solve it. Also, I am worried about the fishing collection, because unless the Legendary Fish can be caught once per player and not once per save, we can lock yourselves from completing fish collection as well. If anyone knows anything, please help.

The museum doesn't matter for your collections, but you need to actually pick the items up yourself to have them being noted down in the collection.

Additionally, the fish collection only counts something, if you've fished it yourself (the one time legendaries can be fished once per player) and the dishes and craft countings only count, if you've crafted it yourself. For anything else it might work to drop them on the floor and pick them up again, if it didn't count before (since there are some sources, where it might not count, like fishing treasures or artifact troves).

So you mean that everybody has to find everything themselves, right? If that's so, thanks, it's gonna be a pain to get every mineral and artifact then, but at least I know it's possible.

I believe all a character has to do is pick up the item. So if you find quarts, you can drop it, have your friend pick it up, and you'll both have it counted.

Nope, at least not in this server for some reason, when my friend found a second anchor I specifically told him to give it to me for a second; when I checked my collections after that the anchor wasn't there. Same with a few other things.
