They are a pretty nice piece of lategame optimization when you use the Automate mod though, stops you from having to refill your crab pots manually and fully automates the production chain.
Though obviously, feel free to not deal with it, if you don't want to. The game doesn't pressure you into either way and both approaches are valid.
And i personally don't use them, because i'm not that much of a min-maxer, so i'm ok with wasting some money by buying it from Willy.
Decreasing the materials needed to craft them.
Decrease the fishing level requirement for crafting them.
Increase the minimum and/or maximum amount of bait produced each day.
Give Worm Bins a chance to produce Wild Bait with options to increase the amount of Wild Bait that is produced.
Fishing Made Easy Suite 6.0 will release alongside Stardew Valley v1.6.
Works fine for that.
Hardwood (25)
Gold Bar (1)
Iron Bar (1)
Fiber (50)
And bait can be bought for 5 Gold each.
So for all these resources, you get the equivalent of a daily income of ~18 Gold. Which is already very little and takes ages to have any return on investment. But on top you also have to collect the bait every day.
It is arguably much simpler to just not craft any Worm Bins and just buy the bait, especially when those bars could also be used to craft a quality sprinkler.
