What is your favourite farm type?
The question that divides the community. Personally I like the forest farm for early hardwood and I just got used to the layout. But what’s your favourite? With that said, happy farming!:stardrop:

Maybe riverlands farm, because the layout is fun and challenging. Many small islands connected by bridges. I never even fully take advantage of the farm's fishing opportunities, I just like the presence of water. xD I don't dislike any of the farm types, though, and I'm looking forward to play on the new farm upcoming with the 1.6 update! :3

Me too! What do you think the new farm type will be? It might have something with the frogs in the info picture?

Maybe some kind of a wetland farm or a jungle farm? Both could have frogs. :D

Forest Farm looks best in my opinion, but I do like the simple and open layout of the normal farm.

Standard, Forest, Beach. I prefer aestethics (hopefully spell correctly, cause I have a broken english) to design.

Beach Forest!!!

I also think Forest is hands down the best farm gameplay wise.
Aesthetic beach and river are my favorites.
But I've just started a new farm on wilderness for fun.
No clue what the new farm will be, I was going to wait to play again for it but got impatient.

Standard farm. Sometimes you can't go wrong with a pure, vanilla farming experience! :corncob:

I always try to play on special farms like forest or beach, but I always end up on the standard farm. Also, love four-corners for multiplayer :brownchicken:

Just started beach farm this month. The ocean fishing, the treasure boxes, the sunken cherry blossom trees, I love it. Rushed to upgrade to iridium watering can and the greenhouse. But after a few ingame weeks I didnt mind all the extra watering that much. Kind of a nice routine. Like handwashing dishes.

I agree. The beach farm has so many extra rewards to compensate for the hand-watering, and that part isn't so bad once you figure out how to right-size the chore.

I've probably played the most on the Standard map. It does its job, nothing wrong with it.

I've tried the Wilderness map. Didn't care for the enemies spawning, they were annoying rather than useful. I also didn't like all the space that got lost to the lake.

I've tried the Forest map, that was fun, I've used that a couple of times.

I've recently been using the Beach map. At first, I avoided it, because I didn't like the idea of not being able to use Sprinklers (on most of it). But the Sprinkler section is pretty big (once you clear it off), and the vast amounts of open space lend themselves to all sorts of projects (like growing huge fields of Wheat and Bok Choy using nothing but rainfall). (I also tend to put in quite a lot of Fish Ponds, the Beach farm is ideal for that.

Never used the Riverlands one, or the Hilltop one, and I don't do co-op, so the Four-Corners doesn't really appeal.

So .... hmm ... overall, I think I'd go with the Beach farm at the moment. I love how vast it is. I don't think I've ever used all of the space.
The Profitable Farm. :steamhappy:
