Rabbit's Foot actually raises luck?
I just found 6-8 treasures in a row while fishing when I noticed that I had a Rabbit's Foot in my inventory. Coincidence? Does the thing actually raise your luck stat secretly while you carry it?

prob its just your luck that day... just check the fortune teller every morning...

Nope. Spirits were perturbed. Mild bad luck that day.

Hmmm...I played another game where I also swear I had better luck when carrying a rabbit's foot. I wonder if that's true here too :D

Statistics are foiled by the short run.

It's most likely just a coincidence, but we don't really have any idea what the baseline droprate is without peeking into the game files or running a trial with thousands of data points.

6 years later and I still don't know the answer to this. Can anyone confirm if it provides a bonus?

Yep, straight from the wiki:
Despite the description, Luck buffs do not influence the chances of getting a rabbit's foot, nor does carrying a rabbit's foot increase luck.

Mystery solved! After 6 long years :>
