For example not being able to utilize the Sweet Gem Berry from Rare Seeds!
Bleh!
If only you could make Sweet Gem Berry Jello/Wine. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥!
This can make a much larger difference if you don't close the animal doors at night, as your chickens produce less eggs when you leave the doors open. And also in winter, where the chickens don't graze, and I'm pretty sure that effects production along with quality. The void chickens will lay an egg each day, even with the door left open. Definitely lower maintence, and if void mayo ever comes along, it would produce more money on average too. Guess that's the reason there is no void mayo.
You also need the void egg to complete the shipping list. Which your grandpa thinks is a good thing... My boy!
Besides, profits are so high on the crop, and it takes such a long time to grow that kegs or preserving bins would be unfair in a way. After all, I doubt the keg or preserving bin would take 18-24 days.
Not gonna lie, I would like to see a cooking recipe with it in the future. One with a good buff. That'd be awesome. But for now I plan on growing nothing but rare seeds and ancient fruit once I'm done using my greenhouse as a test lab. I always hated kegs and preserving bins. Too hard to mass produce them and they take too much room. It'd probably take 1600+ of them just for all the crops I grow in a season. Which would take too much time to collect and fill at that point.
Cooking recipe(s) requiring certain non-usable products would be awesome!
