How many save files can you have?
Just wondering for when co-op comes.

I've had 5 saves at one point, probably more than that.

It seem each save create a file in the folder so, I guess technally, you can have as many saves as you have room.

hehe, I only really plan to have 3, and then how ever it will work for multi player.

1 save for your first start and inital farm style in solo play
4 more for the 4 newer styles of farm layouts in solo play
X more for modded versions of Stardew Valley in solo/co-op play
X more for different co-operative playthroughs with different friends

I'd say you guys will be very busy for a very long time in this game.
