Everyone hates poppies?

I started handing out poppies to people and everyone dislikes/hates them. Is this intended? I faintly remember most people being okay with them. I gave one to Pierre, Caroline, Abigail, and Gus. They all had the 'I'm offended" diologue, The wiki says that everyone but one person likes them. Bug?

Edit: Penny still loves them, but the kids both hate them.

Are you sure it the dislike one, and not nutural like?.

When you craft or receive a Crystalarium, you can make infinite diamonds. Just have to pop one in. :)

LOL I was waiting for this :D There is a dude here somewhere that has a setup in a barn with all Crystalariums, and it looks pretty impressive :D

However, by the time you get the Crystalarium, you would likely have the greenhouse. :D

Just curious but, did you happen to go rooting through a garbage can before you talked to them? If people see you do that it grosses them out and you get the scribbly stuff.

Nope. It was when I gave them the poppy. I didn't want to lower my hearts further, but several more people dislike them. Penny is the only one with a positive reaction.

I've noticed the same thing, they are pretty much hated by 90% of the people I try to give them to, in addition to the people the OP listed, Mayor Lewis also hated it. I think Sam did too but I'm not 100% on that since that was yesterday.

And no, nothing else is going on. You give them a poppy and they have their offensively bad gift dialogue. It's the poppies.

I seriously wonder if something was overlooked, since flowers are usually well-liked it's very strange to have one that is hated by so many people.

Decided to continue giving out my last three for science.
Jas, Emily, and Evelyn also hated them. All NPCs who generally love flowers.
I think I'm going to make a bug report because that seems really odd.
