Right click sells one, shift + right click sells half.

Yes, it is incredibly inconvenient that you can't sell specific numbers...
The times i stood there, holding right click and waiting for a couple of hundred pale ale to drop into that box, leaving me with 20 that i can use to make the villagers drunk...
It's somewhat pathetic that a game in this day and age misses something as simple as proper stack splitting...
Whatever happened to "Hold shift to sell/buy 10, Hold Ctrl to sell/buy 100"? That worked perfect for the last 25 years... But nah... Sell all, sell half, or sell nothing...
Same goes for crafting stone floor... It is so stupidly hard to make, i basically held the right mousebutton, so the game makes 1 item every 0.1 seconds, and held shift and spammed left click, so it would create 5 everytime i click... fortunately you can do both at once, turning the process of making 999 items into something that "only" takes half a minute...

Well why not just drag 20 out and sell all of it?

You can split stacks within your own inventory. Open up your inventory (don't go to the selling bin, just open your regular inventory). Right click and hold on a stack to rapidly start counting up. When you reach the right amount, click on an empty slot in your inventory and your stack will be split. You can split a stack into as many pieces as you have inventory slots.

Also, shift+RClick will choose 5 at a time instead of 1.

If you have a big stack of something, you have the option to quickly split it in half as many times as you need to to narrow in on the number you want. You shouldn't ever be left just holding down right-click for agonizing periods of time (not necessary).

You have a stack of 500 but want to keep 20, before going into the Shipping Box open your inventory and Right click grab until you have 20, put it in a different slot (20 / 480) and sell the 480 stack.

Alternatively.
Go into inventory first, and shift+rightclick a pile a couple of times (have to drop the previous click) and you'll half the half of the half. (or more.)

It is because CA understands the game mechanics like many gamers will understand the mechanics, and doesn't understand the casual/non-gamer Mind in quite the same way.
Since it is very possible to quickly get to pretty much any amount in that way, he didn't add in another method to input those amounts

The only /real/ convenience option that needs to be changed or added in, Is a way to process Geodes faster.

Either by making it so you eventually unlock your own hammer+anvil to process them yourself (like a Battery Pack, some sort of machine, and some iron bars = auto-anvil, works like furnace, each geode has a set amount of minutes/hours associated to it, like the ore has, and so on so forth)

Or allowing an option to eventually remove the animation since you've seen it a billion times, and/or process them in bulk (i.e, Have a chat option to give a stack to him of any size, and then he stores the result data in a "Collect rewards" similar to the library and you can empty out the rewards at your leisure. (Of course, at "bulk option" the size of your stack equates to the price tagged to it, obviously. Maybe bulk processing has a discount or costs more for convenienc.) (Also, If bulk processes, I'd say it'd be like working on a tool, and he'd become occupied with the task for a duration of time while you did other things. so you didn't have to sit there for two real human hours, still not be even half done, and get tired of sitting there and leave another 250+ omnigeodes sitting in a chest in his office, only to go out and get another 80 before the next time you visit him, or more) (Example, "Process Geodes in bulk" (requires more than xx Geodes) -> Cost every 100+ geodes adds an additional 5G-> time every xx basic geodes takes xyminutes -> every ## ice geodes -> takes yy minutes -> every x# fire geodes takes yx minutes, etc

If you have less than xx geodes (say for instance, it is 30 geodes required to do a bulk process, and it processes 15 per so many minutes, and you have 55 geodes, then it will take 4x processes exact, instead of nearly 4x processes)

pretty sure this is enough derailing and information the suggestion to stop...

Yeah I know, and I kinda am (it is really more of a laziness to desire to mod)

Like...

I would totally mod butchering back into the game and desire a bulk method for Geodes, even at my own expense

I shouldn't /have/ to mod those things, though.
and between that and Laziness. I don't.
