How do I get pregnant and have a baby as a female character?

I gave my husband 2 boquets and he said something like "You want to get more serious? I'm nervous." and followed the wiki & everything but he never asks me when I sleep if I want a child. I really don't want to start over as a male character to simply follow youtube, though.

It's a random chance that he will pop the question. Just be patient.

I play a female character and mine took about a month for the question to appear. I married Elliot and only gave him one extra bouquet during marriage. I've been kissing him and giving him a loved gift every day (Lobster and Tom Kha), though.

Get max hearts with your spouse and the question will pop after you go to sleep.

It works perfectly fine with a female character, your spouse will comment on you being pregnant and all, but you can still run around in the mines swinging swords and whatnot, beware the cranky pregnant lady! =)

Well it is a % chance each time you go to sleep, its not guaranteed to happen instantly when you get max hearts. You know you have gotten them to max possible hearts after they have given you the stardrop.

After that just keep them at max and eventuelly you get the question, but it can take a season or two if you are abit unlucky.
