Geodes

Hello fellow farmers, I have a question, do geodes work similar to ores in that the deeper you go the more frequent they are, does luck affect their drop rate at all? and above all, what is the best way to farm for geodes, I want to get every item from a specific type of geode before moving onto the next type so I don't overwhelm myself, any tips and tricks would be greatly appreciated! Thank you~

the geodes change into rarer looking geodes if were talking about the ones you bring to the blacksmith to break

Lucky days effect how many drop when mining, yet wont effect whats inside them. Omni Geodes have the drops of any geode.
RNG is RNG. You may as well just go down through the cave and upgrade your pickaxe with better ores. Save time in the long run in energy costs and how much you are capable of mining and the efficency of food to swings required.

yes that's what I'm talking about, I was curious if there's an easy way to farm for each type of geode, or if they only drop from normal rocks instead of ore veins, stuff like that

They drop in specific levels of the mines from random normal rocks. http://stardewvalleywiki.com/Minerals

okay see I didn't know if it was normal rocks or ore rocks could drop them too, with the normal geodes it seems duggies have a decent rate to drop them too so I suppose I can work on the duggie extermination request as well as farm geodes as well that way, from what I see, Omni geodes while having a lot of materials actually does NOT have all the unique mineral drops from the three different geodes, and you'd need to break those 3 types anyways to get every single one from that branch anyways, so I see no need to gather the omnis at this point in time
