Profession choice

I apparently missed something. I didn't realize professions even existed til recently, and it looks like the game has been picking them for me. (and not the ones I would have chosen, but thats another issue.)

Moving forward, what do I need to do in order to pick one myself? I don't recall ever being given an option.

At level 5 and level 10 a popup window would have shown overnight (You might of spam clicked through) with two choices.

When your skills reach level 5 and level 10, you're given a choice of which perk you want when you sleep. Unless your game is bugged or something, there's no way for you to have missed it.

Professions are just a choice of bonuses you pick at lvl 5 & 10 of each skill. With the choice you make at lvl 5 affecting which choices you are given at level 10. Think of it as skill specializations. If you think you haven't been picking them then you may be clicking too fast on the end of day screen. Which is where you get to make the choice.

Ok thanks for the info! Yeah I must have clicked past it thinking it was just a levelup reward, and totally missed that it was a choice.

I don't remember being given any sort of choice or anything to click on. The game just told me what my professions were. There weren't any other things listed...
