i think i've ran out of maple trees O.o

i can't find any anywhere and i've sold all the seeds i got from them! have i made it so that i can never have maple seeds?

Also if i leave the stumps do the trees come back?

I usually find Maple Trees in the south east corner of the Forest, near the sewer entrance.

Trees do not grow back if you leave stumps. Stumps are just bad, it's old info that got spread around, possibly how it worked on Harvest Moon?

On your farm area, you need to plant trees for them to grow back (The trees also spread seeds automaticly, exept fruit trees).

Remember there are trees outside your farm as well, especially if you go down to the little forest. The trees outside your farm start to grow back automaticly without needing to plant them if you chop them down (Don't leave a stump either).

Don't trees all come back like during spring anyway? There is always a lot of random trees planting themselves on the field and other places even if you leave it empty.

I don't know exactly how that works inside the farm area, but everywhere else is quite the contrary, as long as you leave the stumps, the trees will not grow back. I learned that the hard way. So, chop them down completely and the next day you'll see little tree sprouts in their place
