Best order to do the community bundles in
I recently completed the craft rooms bundle, and after recently unlocking the bridge, that got me thinking. Which is the most convenient order to complete the bundles in. I really don't want to transfer to joja mart, because I really hate that place, considering that's the company I was trying to escape from at the start of game, so nothing about that. Unless it's hate on joja corp. Then that's fine.

Anyway, thanks in advance!

Depends on your playstyle, though I would recommend doing the Boiler Room as soon as possible (for the fast travel), then the Vault (if you want to get the desert faster and is pretty good to prioritize) or Pantry (for the greenhouse), then the Fish Tank, and finally the Bulletin Board.

I'm hoping not too many people answer you seriously, because it'll confirm your flawed premise in your own head (that being that there's much of a choice you have in terms of "what order" to do the bundles in, and you really don't). The items are largely seasonal, and with a very few exceptions, don't overlap that much. You should be doing every last bundle you can currently acquire at your stage of the game SIMULTANEOUSLY.

You don't have to "pick one" to do first; actually, you flat-out can't, because the game restricts your access to certain items based on the time of year. The items come in piecemeal, gradually; you literally fill out the bundles as you encounter items for the first time (you really don't have to put more thought into it than that).

You shouldn't be worrying about an order to do them in -- just find each item as soon as you can. You're divided into Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter items. If you're playing the game somewhat normally, the bundles should 90% fill out themselves. You'll have to go hunting for certain harder-to-get fish, so that means researching the wiki a bit about when and where to find them (again, it's seasonal, so there are fish you can get in Spring that you can't get in Summer, etc.), but it does not mean that you ever have to make some kind of 'decision' about targeting fish instead of crops for that frame of time. Do 'em both!

^^ This for sure.

You'll be doing them roughly all at once. But ones to focus on are getting the bus repaired (opens up a whole new area), the mine carts working (saves a lot of time) and the greenhouse built. Bridge repair is really nice but not vital, glittering boulder is almost pointless and the friendship boost is best used in the 2nd year so you've met everyone.

On my next play through I plan on doing the aquerium ASAP.

You pan for minerals and can get some nice easy needed stuff to help jumpstart you in year 2.

Year one is more of spend all cash on seeds and water them, Try to get watering can upgrade on rainy days if you can, By winter its all about clearing the farm and starting to plan things.
Pockyninja Mar 27, 2016 @ 7:21am
I would say do all them as you can. The most important ones in my opinion are Greenhouse and Blacksmithing one. Panning I feel is to uncommon to be of any real use and the bridge doesnt give many good things.

In year 1 whenever I wasn't watering I was down in the mines to get stuff to make sprinklers to make more viable crops. By the time winter came around I was already at the bottom, carting a pan around for crumbs seems pointless.

I know that I should be working on them all at once, I have been, heck, I've nearly finished the fish tank. What I really meant was, a general idea of what ones I should work harder than others on.
Saluki Mar 27, 2016 @ 11:37am
I wouldnt worry about finishing any of them in any order. I think it is much more important to concentrate on getting items that are hard to obtain. Assuming you are a normal player you can finish the center easily in year 2. The problem will be when during year 2 if you need an item you can only get in winter you have to wait that much longer.

So my advice is dont worry TOO much about things in your first spring and summer.

During Fall and Winter work hard to get everything you can that only appear in those seasons.

Push hard for ducks and rabbits as the drop rate for feathers and feet is very small and very random.

Plant Apple and Pomegranate trees by the middle of Summer 1.

Check the traveling lady every Friday and Sunday and buy any rare items she sells that you need.

Still rather subjective, depending on ones personal goals for the game.

Greenhouse = moneymoneymoney + mega crop farming convenience.
Desert access is nice, but not very important (early on I mean) unless you're really keen on working the desert mines or getting those starfruit seeds as early as possible. Or want to befriend Sandy. Or really want some coconuts.

I don't find the mine carts all that interesting/useful most of the time. Can live without it very easily.
I don't find the "quarry" all that interesting/useful, although ever week or two you do get some ores/gems out of it. But nothing exciting/needed at all.
Friendship boost would be nice if you started on those late, but if you're like me and already had everyone at 10 hearts, well...

etc.

Edit: I personally find giving 60 items to the museum as fast as possible is my priority, so I can buy iridium sprinklers and stock up on them for Year2. That's just me tho. 2nd Edit: easy enough to live with only quality sprinklers, of course.

Yes the order you choose to do them in is a bit subjective, however try this and see if you enjoy the playthrough:
1. Mine Carts (Boiler Room)
2. Glittering Boulder (Fish Tank) Note: you don't have to unlock this by going to the desert, you can buy the requirement from the Travel Merchant.
3. Bridge (Craft Room)
4. Greenhouse (Pantry)
5. Bus Repair (Vault)
6. Friendship (Bulletin Board)
Technically, you will be working on all the bundles at the same time & checking items off through out the year by delivering them early to the Center. This is just so you can organize your thoughts.

Since many items are seasonal and the game is designed so that most people won't get the community center until their second year (thanks to the Red Cabbage) I usually get the Vault done first since it's just money. Money isn't seasonal.

Since mining isn't seasonal either, the Boiler Room usually happens second.

Sure, you csn buy a lot from the merchant but unless it's things you've missed (usually Spring items), it's a needless expense.

It's a nice idea to get the Greenhouse as soon as possible but it requires Pumpkins to complete whether you like it or not, so you'll never unlock it before your first pumpkin crop, which is mid-fall. The moment you do, cram it with sprinklers, repeater crops (Coffee is a good choice if you aren't packing Ancient Fruit) and fruit trees.

Fortunately you only need three items for the Quality Bundle and these you can complete by summer if you get enough Parsinps sown in Spring, and use Corn in Summer along with your melons. Everybody loves big, juicy melons!

Spring fruit trees will NEVER grow in time to use in the pantry in year one, because they take 28 days to mature and there's no way you can afford them on your first day.

As for doing it the Joja way? That means being 40,000G in profit, which isn't as easy as you think when you're not getting any free boosters from the Community bundles.

After a year and a half, I'm sure they don't need the advice anymore.
