After you reach skill 7-8 many fishes start to be like death, they barely moving, maybe devs must make them i little more "alive" after you raise your skill.
I figure there needs to be another higher tier of fish unlocked when you reach level 10 skill which makes the fish jump around a little more.
I think devs make the legendary fish like a last "challenge" for fishing, but with fishing skill to 8 i get the sewer fish and angler pretty easy specially the sewer, i tried the crimsonfish but but the skill was too lower but i get near two times.
I'm a bit worried for when i reach lvl 10 and take the legendary fish, at this time fishing become good only for cooking and fertilizer.
I actually neglected both mining and fishing all too much in my first Spring and Summer, because I found the socializing aspect of the game so appealing. I've realized from reading the forums that most players seem to be heading to the mines or the water after they're done farming in the morning, but me? I gather up good gifts and track villagers down (literally, that's how I've spent most of my days). The end result is I've yet to break level 35 in my mine at day 22 in Summer, but I've got the vast majority of villagers over 3 hearts, nearly everyone else at least over 4, and at least 6 villagers at 6. I've been keeping at least 2 of every crop and foraging item on hand, and have been learning by heart what gifts are good for certain villagers, and what isn't (it's absurdly easy to turn Shane into a non-♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, and a good drinking buddy, if you give him two hot peppers a week, for example).
I always *CRINGE* when I'm watching a Let's Play and I see the first reaction of most people, when it's time to harvest crops, is to immediately dump every last plant into the shipping bin. You don't know when you might need one of those cabbages, dude! HINT: at least one of the bachelorettes sees it as a "love" item. Keep a couple on standby first, then sell the rest!
I only have one villager left at 1 heart; the wizard. He's just so out of the damn way, and I've had bad luck getting quests offered by him. :-/
wizard is really easy but for that you need high lv mines XD. you will need to give him solar or void essence :P
