How do i get my pig to find truffles?

Have had a pig for about a week and no truffles. Do I need to do actively do anything with it?

is it an adult yet... adult pigs will randomly find truffles in the dirt when let outside... the more hearts they have the more likely they will find a truffle... you have to check where they were running around to find them...

Make sure you let them outside in the morning when it's not raining, baby pigs don't find anything btw.

Another good tip is to fence off the area so pigs don't roam too far, making the collections take more time.

One full adult pig is enough for me, I usually get 3 truffles a day from a 3 hearted pig.
