The spreading weeds have caused damage to my farm

I've gone all around my farm, and could find no damage. What is it talking about?

You've probably seen lots of them. Short green things, a bit squarish because they fit right on a tile, they disappear in one hit if you hit them with your Scythe or a sword and they're what give you Fiber.

I cleared out all the fiber things but I need some more for a scarecrow. The message keeps popping up but I don't see any weeds... Any explanation?

I'm having the same problem, unless they've grown in a building I've not checked yet.

I keep getting the same message even tho I've checked the farm quite a few times and there are no weeds anywhere. They sometimes seem to be spawning right after the message is shown but not always. The only thing that comes to mind is the hourglass but I doubt the game expects us to have the from year one.

I had the same messae for the first time and the thing they destroyed was some tilted soil from old season and loadout

You eventually can get a golden clock from the wizard. It prevents all debris from spawning on your farm.

If i chop down some trees and clear rocks and cut down the weeds would that stop it?
Im new so i dont know.

You can destroy all the weeds/rocks/trees, but more will just spawn when the season changes.

I've got 1.5k hours in this and it's never happened to me. Judging by this and some of the other posts it seems that 1.4 has made weeds a more serious problem than it used to be. I wonder if this was intended and everyone is affected or just a common glitch now.

Put up a gate in the fence...gates are considered part of the fence line. Certain weeds also give mixed seeds. Those are very handy when first starting out.
