What's the best gear set up for the mines ?

I've just got to lvl hundred in the mines and I know there is another dungeon thingy to do and I have the obsidian edge does any one have a build that kills of the monsters in 2 or so strikes?
I.E the use of the rings? Any info would be great thanks!

Seriously, it doesn't matter. You can pretty much wear whatever you want as long as you're using the weapon with the highest attack value available to you, it doesn't honestly make much of a difference.

Oh Okay cool I was just wondering what builds would just kill them quicker I might just try two rings where it increases crit stike chance and crit power

You should be more than set, but you may want to consider getting a Lava Katana (it's way better of a weapon) for later on for the Skull Cavern. Otherwise, you can make it through to the rest of the floors with your current setup of an Obsidian Edge with any two of those rings. In my current playthrough I made it to the bottom of the Mines at Summer Day 3 on Year 1 with just an Obsidian Edge, Small Glow Ring, and Small Magnet Ring.

If you're trying to advance through floors quickly, tactical use of bombs and stairs are the way to go rather than what your equipment set-up is. Earlier than that, while you're still working your way down to the bottom of the mine, you can focus on progressing prettty easily by doing it in 5-floor chunks. The rings don't make much of a difference and I honestly just roll with Glow or Magnet rings for utility. Hat is cosmetic only, and the boots all pretty much have the same stats so there's no real variation.

Yhyh wish I had the res for the floor grind lol just trying to get a load of iron ore and gold ore quickly ready for my third year I'm in second year winter plus I want to get the item at the end of the mines lol I need to get the sprinklers on the go so I can start focusing on animals I'm my third year

Save up your void and solar essences (50 of each) so you can craft the Iridium Ring as soon as you unlock the recipe. It has both utility an combat bonuses so you don't have to choose between power and convenience.

the best setup is a galaxy sword space boots and 2 iridium rings... but you probably cant make iridium rings yet or get the galaxy sword so until you can buy the lava katana that obsidian edge is your best bet...still witht eh best stuff the hard mosnters dont die in 2 hits they still take a few...

Galaxy Sword
Iridium Band x1
Bandit Band x1 (farm 500 coal sprites to get it... drastically increases drop rates)

running this on a lucky day = 500k from a caves run per day

Take Pumpkin Soup with you. Very easy to make once you learn it and it gives you a +2 to luck and defense.

Indeed. I agree with this. At the end of my game, I used 1 iridium band and 1 bandit thing. It made my mine runs fine and never really had trouble with that setup. Best recommend.
