Picking up small farm animals

So a few of my chickens got out of their enclosure while I was tearing down the fence to create a new one. Is there a way to call the animals to you so they follow you? I can't seem to get my chickens back where they need to be. It would be cool to have like a whistle or some command to have them follow you? I know in Harvest Moon you could pick up chickens for example.

Don't think there are any commands, best to wait til night time where they should return to the coop and sleep.

Yeah, no follow commands.
Just wait until evening and go into the building and see if they're all there. If not, exit coop/reenter it once or twice and it should teleport them all back.
