Vincent's little secret at the picnic...
Spoilers i guess, but he said that "IF i eat your veggies, will i grow up to be as strong as my brother? He's really strong, i seen him carry Ms.Penny up into a tree yesturday..."*Penny jumps into the air with an embarassed look on her face* Now, I was trying to marry her, but i don't know what to do with her now, i admit, it was funny when i first read it, but this was after i gave her that flower thing, so in a way, she technically cheated, so beware if you are after Penny....

Dev already debunked this in his reddit AMA. All they did was climb a tree and nothing more.

There is nothing to show that they did anything other than a guy helping a good friend to get somewhere she can't by herself, also even if something happened it's not like you're married already, I went for Penny anyway and got no regrets, she's a lovely wife.

Thanks for clearing that up, but if that's the case, she sure looked embarassed about nothing...haha

Shy people get embarrassed about just about everything. I should know from first-hand experience.

I would be pretty freaked out about the possible implication as well.

Why would she want to cimb into a tree anyway? She dosen't seem like the type of person that is that adventerous, she seems like she'd be more interested in going in the library, or teaching the 2 kids.

Fruit tree?

Maybe to pick some papers that the wind blew and got stuck on the tree.

To catch fruit? I know plenty of people who enjoy doing that in mango trees, for example. And Penny is small enough that she might no be able to reach the fruit otherwise (and she might not want to just make said fruit drop and hit the ground). I mean, she has to climb on a little bench to do the dishes for crying out loud! =P

some people live unhealthily (cloistered?) sheltered lives; specially in village type situations where sources of education are easier to control. to a point where they start having wild imaginations about what is real. ie they have no idea how fertilization works. they think touching hands can cause it.

Your character carried someone to a tree in a heart event (I forget what number) and nothing out of the ordinary happened.

I thought it was Vincents' older brother that carried her up into the tree?

CorruptMadNinja was mentioning another cutscene, in which your character helps another character (not Penny) reach something in a tree.
