I'd say speed gro deluxe is a good pick here. Because the ancient fruit plant takes a long time to mature, so reducing that time helps a lot. Also, since crop quality doens't matter for artisan goods (like wine) the quality enhancing fertilizers would be worthless if making wine is your plan.

It doesn't really matter. The fertilizer dissapears after a season change i found. The deluxe speed grow would help i spose but it wont do anything once its fully grown, and to put new fertilizer down you'd have to chop the plant down, so yeah don't do that

You can actually apply speed gro again after a season change in an already planted tile. I've done it myself multiple times.

Are you sure? It tells me that the fertilizer needs to go down Before the planting of a crop and doesnt let me. So there is either a bug on my end or yours

Yes, I am sure. I never tried using the quality enhancing fertilizers (never saw the point in them), but I have already used speed gro deluxe on my ancient plants in the greenhouse. So I know it works, at least in the greenhouse.

It's different for a case of season change, if the plant was already there on the beggining of the season it allows you to reaply without taking it out.

I read somewhere, that speedgrow doesn't work with multiple-harvest crops.

It works on the grow/mature time, just not on the re-harvest time, in a case like the ancient fruit where the mature time is 28 days it is worth it.
