Increase your friendship with the wizard, there's a trapdoor in the back of his tower that will allow you to change your appearance.

Four hearts.

Thank you, but do you know if there is any way of doing so messing with the game files?

You can use the wizards place for changing your appearance or use a savegame editor (but make a backup of your savefile before using this)

Get the easier fishing mod if you find it difficult. It still keeps the general feel and work of fishing, but makes them less rapid and unpredictable.

You can do so. Find your save file under %appdata%, the one beginning with your character's name (as opposed to the SaveGameInfo one) and open it up on notepad. Search for shirt. It should come up with a string beginningsomething like:
<shirt>30</shirt><hair>25</hair><skin>3</skin><accessory>16</accessory><facialHair>-1</facialHair>
You can change the values in this. The string after it should also contain the color codes for each item, so you can change that to. As for which number corresponds to which style, you'll have to check for yourself.

Thank you again for the information, and about the character name is there anything I can do about it? My save file is already 40 hours and I dont want to be called Bob Ross anymore
