Is there any reason to rush anything?
I'm enjoying this a lot, but I'm making progress pretty slowly, just wondering if there's a danger of missing anything? Does the game end, or are do the seasons cycle?

There's no need to rush apart from personal challenges or goals. You need to restore the community before year for a certain achievement I hear, but aside from that, you can leisurely take as much time as you lie to get pretty much anything else done. Including marriage, kids etc.

The game can go on forever as far as I'm aware. You won't miss anything permanently besides making the choice between a community center restoration and Joja Mart Warehouse.

There's no reason to rush, there is a soft 'end' evaluation at the start of year 3 but you can ask for a re-evaluation and it does not have any negative effects. Play at your own leisure and worry not.

Awesome, that's what I was hoping. Thanks!

How do you engage in the process of restoring the center?

I was wondering this too. Im glad there is no rush or end like harvest moon had. I never liked being forced to stop and judged at a certain time.

Did you get the cutscene with the mayor?

Do I need to complete the community centre in the first year?

Is that even possible?

I unlocked the community centre first year, you just have to be lucky with the travelling vendor on fridays/sundays next to the wizard tower.

But there is nothing you get from this. If you concentrate on 1 thing, you safe a lot of real time by skipping ingame days.

Since you can resummon the year 3 event now, there is no little reason to rush anything. It just makes the game worse.

hard? not really, just takes time. it's collecting the items, and placing them in the community center. one bundle needs crops grown in the fall, another needs crops from the spring, there is a foraging bundle (wood, stone, etc) - it's just collecting stuff. you can access the community center bundles page from your own backpack screen anytime, but you must physically travel to the community center to place the items.
