Well, that explains one of the achievements. As I said before, "Full House" requires you to have 2 kids, not just one, so you'll get that one later. And if you can have children, that means you have a nursery, so you have the last house upgrade, which is the requirement for living large. That's odd. It's possible the achievement bugged out for you and didn't register.
Oh, that's right, "moving up", I forgot about that one. And you are right, you should have it. O.o
Were you perhaps playing in the offline mode at the time? I noticed that some Steam games only register achievements if you are online when you get them.
