Now to your problem, why can't you? Is the option not there? Maybe a bug? Could you elaborate on what is blocking you from finishing the warehouse and get the achievement?
I figured you could buy the bulletin board bundle. Seeing as i never bothered with fruit trees pretty much the entire playthrough, yes buying it is much quicker. I am making stupid amounts of money from ancient fruit wine.
1st problem = Ive already unlocked all the purchaseable upgrades available from jojo via the community bundles. Therefore locking out the achievement to buy every upgrade
2nd = Community board isnt part of jojo buy bundles as far as i can see, seems to be only part of the community centre.
Obviously hindsight is, i shouldve waited, and completed the Community centre. But this is first playthrough and i try not to google search EVERYthing or why play. I was aware the community centre gets changed to jojo warehouse, but it says it offers alternative methods to upgrading the town, well it doesnt offer them all, ie, community billboard
The board is the only one that is out afaik, that's why you get 2 hearts with CC and none with warehouse (1 heart from the bulletin and another for completing the CC).
Yeah thats true, i will likely do that, that way then crack on with an ''actual'' playthrough the community centre way. Thanks for the help. I will grab all the other achievements on this playthrough then do that
Just learn from it, I guess. It's valuable to look this stuff up online and read about it before committing yourself; it only takes a few seconds (the nature of the Community Center is one of the things that's well-known and talked about online so far). This is the kind of game where it's dangerous to make a decision like that and then save, while not fully understanding the ramifications of that decision -- no more blindly plowing ahead. :-/
Like i said, i dont feel the answer is to always google it - or why play? Ontop of that it says it offers alternatives to upgrading the town, one would assume this included all that the CC offered, but that is not the case.
An easier solution to this would be to offer the option to have a seperate manual save system. Now you would say it can be abused, and sure people can. But people can edit saves anyway, and CA has stated if people want to ''cheat'' they can, it's their choice. But an example of why i would personally like a manual save system is because there are plenty of times ive had to sleep JUST so the game will save what ive done, as ive got to head out or leave the game for whatever reason, and most of the time that sacrifices the whole day
Do you mean the steam cloud system, or a different kind? If its the latter im unlikely to have it but i will look into it.
First you will have to locate the place where the game was saved: In the windows start menu you will enter the following command:%appdata% StardewValley> Saves.
Now open your save with a notepad, press CTRL + F and type <string>JojaMember</string>. Once you find it, delete that part, save it, and close it.
With me it worked, I hope I have helped: D
Edit - I searched JojaMember and a different line of text came up, I deleted what I thought was the correct line and it worked. The line of text was %JojaMember%&
But you basically sabotaged yourself out of a Community Centre completion. Did almost all the work, and then disabled it at the last minute. Having to do all that all over again does suck.
