The Skull Key quest not working???

I got the Skull Key. I got a quest with it that tells me to find out what it does. I know what it does. I'm using it right now and have used it twice...

Why won't the quest go away? Anyone else having this issue?

Did you unlock the skull mine and the junimo cart arcade cabinet?

If you're using it on the arcade game, this is not the 'correct' purpose of the key that the game is intending.

you must unlock the bus if you havent unlocked that the quest will stay after you open the skull dungeon i believe you get a quest from mysterious gi telling you to get to lvl 25

Yeah it involves you fixing the bus.

You have to go to Callico desert which is what the bus is for then head to the northwest corner where you will see a cave. You enter it then you get into what's known as the skull cavern. Quest complete.

This confused me too! Thanks for the help Hoshiro! I knew what Skull Cavern was, but I didn't know it had anything to do with the skull key.
