When does the meteor hit?

I'm working my way through my first winter. When does the meteor hit?

Did I miss a trigger or something?

It's random, just like the Witch event and Fairy event. Quite rare, sometimes not even once per year. It happens overnight, you will hear a loud crashing thud before you wake up.

As Mackenzie said, it's random. For me, it never even happened, and I have a game in fall of year 3. =P

Just some friendly advice, don't take it the wrong way.

You shouldn't check into threads that might spoil your experiences. Until you've experienced everything yourself only ask your own questions in threads and use the search function for exactly what info you need. Reading about forums is only asking for spoilers.

I only saw the witch once. You'd need a coop or a slime hutch for her to show up, if I'm not mistaken.

I've seen two fairies, three maybe four witches and two meteors within my two play throughs so far.

It's hardly a spoiler. This is not a storyline event and it can happen Spring Year 1 or as late as Year 4. It is simply a means of providing the player with an opportunity to get supplemental iridium since it's an extremely difficult resource to acquire for players early in the game.

Calling this a spoiler is like saying the mention of riding a horse is a spoiler.

funny enough when i got the witch event it was the night after the dark talisman quest with the wizard and i thought it was apart of the quest

thats the problem with games people play for decades. people pop into steam and respond to things that shouldn't really matter

Current file is year 3, I don't think i got any witch events but the autograbber might have broken that possiblity.
