When you interact with the bouncer after obtaining the club card and adding it to your wallet, it should trigger a cutscene. If nothing happens when you interact with him, it sounds like the event isn't being properly triggered and it's bugged.

Fixing it will likely require a quick edit to your save file, but I'm not sure what the event ID number is.

no cut scene appeared any of the times i walked in to the oasis nor when i spoke to him so i have to assume i have bugged it in some way, i'm not keen on editing save files so i guess i will have to pass, its not a big loss, just a minor annoyance as i wanted to do everything the game had to offer. thanks for the advice though

Sounds like time for desperate messures. Get tons of bombs and blow him to hell.

Give me a minute to hop over to my desktop and I'll poke around in my save file to see if I can find the event ID, but unfortunately, I can't make any promises. This may be a new bug introduced in 1.05 when CA fixed some of the previous issues with the Bouncer letting people into the Casino.

Edit: As far as I know, nobody's compiled a list of event IDs yet, and there are 77 event IDs on my list, so it may take me a little while to find the correct one through process of elimination.

Hmm. Okay, some bad news.

I created a backup of my existing save file and manually deleted all of my seen event IDs, taking note of each event ID that was triggered in the inevitable resulting barrage of cutscenes. However, the bouncer NPC is absent in my version of the game, even though the cutscene for his removal hasn't yet been triggered.

This means that his appearance state must be based on some variable other than a corresponding event ID. It might be stored somewhere in the NPC variables. I'll do some more poking around and check back in.

I think I've found a workaround for you, but I'm not 100% certain it will work.

I compared my existing save state with the one without event listings and a brand new game and discovered that the event in question removes the Bouncer from the save's list of NPCs entirely. After combing through the rest of the save data, I'm not seeing any other variables that look relevant, so it would seem that triggering whatever the event ID is removes the NPC at the end of the cutscene. So either the event ID has been added to your save file and the cutscene was never triggered (this is a fairly common bug right now affecting other cutscenes, though it's usually because two or more scenes "collide"), or you're missing a prerequisite somewhere.

Your save file is located in the directory
%AppData%\StardewValley\Saves
Before anything else, make a copy of this folder's contents so you can replace it in the event of any issues.
  • Open the save file in a plain text editor, such as notepad or notepad++. Don't use an editor with markup, like Word.
  • Press Ctrl + F and search for
    <hasClubCard>
This value should say "true", followed by a closing tag (</hasClubCard>). If it says false, you are missing a cutscene elsewhere and did not receive the card from the stack of logs near your house.
  • Press Ctrl + F and search for
    <NPC><name>Bouncer</name>

  • The full entry should look something like this:
    <NPC><name>Bouncer</name><isEmoting>false</isEmoting><isCharging>false</isCharging><willDestroyObjectsUnderfoot>true</willDestroyObjectsUnderfoot><isGlowing>false</isGlowing><coloredBorder>false</coloredBorder><flip>false</flip><drawOnTop>false</drawOnTop><faceTowardFarmer>false</faceTowardFarmer><faceAwayFromFarmer>false</faceAwayFromFarmer><scale>1</scale><timeBeforeAIMovementAgain>0</timeBeforeAIMovementAgain><glowingTransparency>0</glowingTransparency><glowRate>0</glowRate><Position><X>1088</X><Y>192</Y></Position><Speed>2</Speed><IsEmoting>false</IsEmoting><CurrentEmote>0</CurrentEmote><defaultMap>SandyHouse</defaultMap><age>0</age><manners>0</manners><socialAnxiety>0</socialAnxiety><optimism>0</optimism><gender>0</gender><id>-1</id><homeRegion>0</homeRegion><daysUntilBirthing>-1</daysUntilBirthing><daysAfterLastBirth>-1</daysAfterLastBirth><birthday_Day>0</birthday_Day><moveTowardPlayerThreshold>0</moveTowardPlayerThreshold><isInvisible>false</isInvisible><followSchedule>true</followSchedule><datable>false</datable><datingFarmer>false</datingFarmer><daysMarried>0</daysMarried><DefaultFacingDirection>2</DefaultFacingDirection><DefaultMap>SandyHouse</DefaultMap><DefaultPosition><X>1088</X><Y>192</Y></DefaultPosition><IsWalkingInSquare>false</IsWalkingInSquare><IsWalkingTowardPlayer>false</IsWalkingTowardPlayer></NPC>
  • Carefully select everything from the beginning of this entry all the way through to the closing tag that says:
    </NPC
The total selection is going to be long; around 1314 characters in length.
  • Delete the entire selection and save the file, then close it.
  • Load the game and verify that you have the Club Card in your wallet.
  • Head to the Casino entrance and verify that removed the Bouncer NPC.

i followed the steps, it definitely says true at "hasclubcard" stage, not false, though it says "<hasClubCard>true</hasClubCard><hasSpecialCharm>false<" so i dont know if thats maybe messing with it a little. as for searching for the bouncer bit, i couldnt find anything relating to the bouncer or NPCs in general in the text
VerboseLamp Mar 21, 2016 @ 2:01pm
All of the elements listed under the the save file are jammed together without any whitespace or linebreaks, so it's normal for the <hasClubCard> element to run into <hasSpecialCharm>.

Even if the Bouncer has already been removed (which shouldn't be the case, since he's blocking your entry), you should definitely be seeing entries for NPCs, and the <NPC> node itself.

To clarify, have you tried searching upwards/downwards? They should be listed near the end of the document. You can't search for the giant wall of text that I posted as an example, because if any of the individual elements for that NPC are different, it will fail to find results. Instead, you'd have to search under the name "Bouncer".

i tried searching both up and down from the top and bottom of the wall of text, it was unable to find bouncer or npc, i also tried to find specific points from the wall of text and though a few phrases came up a couple of times there was definitely no <IsWalkingTowardPlayer>false</IsWalkingTowardPlayer>
VerboseLamp Mar 21, 2016 @ 2:38pm
<NPC> is a critical node. I don't think I've ever seen a save file without one; unfortunately, I'd need a copy of your save file to dig deeper. If you want to upload a copy on a temporary hosting website like dropbox somewhere, I can take a look at it.
Boii Mar 29, 2016 @ 10:26am
Hey boy, I have same problem.
How fix?
You go to setting in game and zoom out until you see NPC full body.
You can talk with NPC, show your club card and go inside.

"REALLLLLY THANKS İ CANT PLAY GAME NOW THİS **** CANT WORK REALY THX :)

This thread is four months old and I haven't touched the game since then, so I have no idea how any of the variables may have changed. And quite frankly, I have no idea what kind of problem you're having since you didn't describe it.

If you're having the "bouncer won't accept my card" problem, then try following the steps I tested above. Even just glancing at the top of your wall of text shows you obviously have an entry for the bouncer NPC...

Also borrowed from another thread (that took me 10 seconds to find using search):

What finally worked for me:
I went to game options, scrolled down to Graphics, zoomed down to 85%.
Then I went back to game and I was able to talk to Mr. Corner, aka the bouncer.
Having done every quest for Mr. Qi does nothing if you can't even talk to the bouncer.
