Does anybody know any rain mods?
It hasn't rained all season. I want to get the mermaid pendant, and fall is almost over. Any mods that promise rain the next day? I'm only a level 4 forager.

If you want to go the no-cheat route, you can also craft an item which "greatly increases the chances of rain happening the next day".

The Rain Totem requires foraging level 9, a hardwood, truffle oil, and five pine resins, and makes it extremely likely to rain the day after you use it.

Yeah I know, but It'll probably be winter by the time I get level 9

Honestly, I think it's a balancing issue that needs to be addressed in a future update -- the rain chance is just too low right now, especially after Spring. It *needs* to be cranked up a few points.

That's one mod I might actually consider using, though I have a clean copy of the game right now. I wouldn't feel like I was cheating with it, so much as fixing a development oversight that's actually problematic. Too much about the game is completely dependent on a rainy day to make it such a hit-and-miss thing. There should at least be a "maximum" value for a number of consecutive days without rain (I don't think ten days max is asking for much).

As for the rain totem -- it takes truffle oil and 5 pine tars, making it very expensive to craft, and is consumed after one use. The recipe could be adjusted to something kinder to the wallet as an alternative way of balancing the rain rarity.

I've had it rain plenty in Summer which makes sense but very rarely in Autumn.

Also I think there's always thunder/lightning when it rains which is weird.

Would also like to see more rain in general, doesn't always have to be lightning.

Pretty sure there isn't. If you check your TV, it'll tell you what the weather is... a storm is the only thing that's going to give you lightning, normal rainy days won't.

Oh okay, I guess it doesn't happen a lot and I got a confirmation bias from there being so much stormy weather.
