Dwarf Scroll IV

I've made it all the way through the mines to the bottom. Redone about 15-20 lower levels searching, but I still can't find the 4th Dwarf Scroll. I found my scrolls in order, which from what I've read doesn't always happen. Scroll III dropped just after passing 100. What level numbers should I be concentrating on? Where did you guys find yours? I really want to buy the weathered floor recipe from the Dwarf's shop, I love the look of it, but I can't til I can talk to him.

I suggest the ice layers since the most enemies usually appear on one floor at a time there and they are quick to come at you for convenient slaying. Every monster in the game has a 0.1% (1 / 1000) chance to drop Scroll IV.

Found mine on floor 5. Found a second scroll a few floor later. Only on floor 20. Sorry about your RNG. :(

Ha! Sorry. I searched the discussion board this morning looking at posts about it, there wasn't much. When I quit my game today still having not found the scroll I went ahead and asked without searching again. Should have known there would be a post just a couple hours old. This board stays busy!

Please be prepared for the worst RNGeezus can do though - it took until midwinter year 2 for that 4th scroll to drop for me. Of course, I was only rewarded with it when I decided not to mine for a while and just accept my luck.

I found all scrolls in the secret woods, not in order.

I found the last Dwarf Scroll I needed by killing a bat on my Wilderness farm. Just *poof*, final scroll right there.

I've came across 7 Dwarf Scroll IV's while trying to find the first two. I found all of them while hoeing the patch of dirt on floor 95 of the mine, and just reset the floor each time the dirt section is tilled.

Think I got mine from one of those bat swarms... not sure, but I think it was actually in the frozen area...

I think you need to be in the lower levels of the mines, in the fire lava area whatever it is called, I got mine by digging in the dirt but I think you can get it to drop off enemies as well.

I got mine around 90ish there is a floor where its a small patch of regular ground surrounded in the hoe-able ground. i found mine by placing a bomb and getting lucky. that level is by far the best way to get the scroll

I spent a couple hours looking for scroll 4 until I saw this post. I used my gold hoe to dig 9 squares at a time on level 95 and found three scroll 4s in 10 minutes.

I spent quite a while looking. Gave up, then saw this post.
My fist time looking on floor 95 digging up the soft dirt I found scroll iv. Took maybe 3 minutes.

Pardon me for pulling up an old thread, but this bit of information was exactly what I needed. Found it after refreshing/re-hoeing level 95 three times. Thank you!
