To clarify (again), it does rain in the fall but as always, it's random. It's not something to happen every year.

Er, no. There are plenty of regions in the world where the majority of rainfall ONLY occurs in the Fall and Winter months. (As a personal anecdote, I grew up in an area where the rainy season is from September-February. Our region also produces 70% of the fruits and nuts grown in our province.)

Google, usually. It spits up the most clicked results, which are typically old threads. In any case, locked. The answer is still correct.
