Whats the most efficient use of Scarecrows?

I'm currently trying to use the farm planner found here: https://stardew.info/planner/ and something I'm having a problem with is the radius of Scarecrows, which the planner shows like this: http://imgur.com/4aWXge4 The problem I'm running into is with the corners are all jagged. Any suggestions?

Not really a perfect use for them. Just play around with it a little bit and make sure every crop is within a scarecrow's radius

I have this on my main character, 6 Iridium Sprinklers long, 1 column on the end double columns in the middle.

I've been using the 5x5 layout in this guide seems to cover a great deal of the area the scarecrow protects.

Users 6 Irididium Sprinklers and 6 Quality/Advance Ones(8 tile Sprinkler)

Scarecrows are pretty cheap to make so just overlap them

Basically, I have a 3 colums x 5 down iridium sprinklers times 2, plus the ones on the right side.

Note: Not sure why everyone is wasting space with pathways in between the sprinklers -- the scarecrow only takes up one space, so much easier to put it where it needs to be, (which is often in range of a sprinkler)
